I vår er det på tide med nye eventyr med gamal musikk
. Eg jobbar med masterprosjekt, og dykker ned i gamle vokalkjelder. Resultatet kan de få høyre vår 2019. I tillegg er det ny konsert med Fivil ute på tur i haust, vi feirar 200-årsdagen til Aasmund Olavsson Vinje med ein heil konsert dedikert til han.
Og sommaren skal eg tilbringe i Rjukan, på Marispelet! Kom og høyr og sjå! Det blir fossande kjærleik og drama og ven musikk i vakker natur på grensa mellom Hardangervidda og Noregs første industrieventyr. Det går an å vere meg då.
Og sist men ikkje minst, tek eg og Summers/Wensaas*/Kvam med oss forestillinga “Songen om Guro” til Nesetdagane. Me har bytta ut visuals denne eine gongen, fordi det er utescene kl 15.00, med verdas finaste beckdrop, nemleg det djupe Totakvatnet og dei høge Raulandsfjella.

New adventures for the spring

. I am working on my masters project, diving deep into old vocal recordings for inspiration and new vocal tricks. The result will be available spring 2019. Nerding is funfunfun. The vocal duo Fivil is out this fall with songs from the renowned norwegian poet Aasmund Olavsson Vinje, who would have been 200 years old this year. Seeing as we have done 200 childrens concerts the last two years, it seems fitting to go back to the adult concerts with a 200-yearold.
And soon, (to a place near you?) a new project with my partners in crime Summers/Silvola/Kvam. This time we have recruited a new partner in crime. An exciting one. More will come.
This summer I am spending at Rjukan, starring as a singer in the play “Marispelet”. It has drama, love, music and a thundering waterfall, as it is played outside in dramatic scenery on the border between the barren highlands and the first blooming industrial adventure in Norway. Its ok to be me then.
Last, but not least, me and Summers/Wensaas/Kvam are taking our theatrical-musical performance telling the story of Guro Heddelid in song and instrumental music, to Nesetdagane in August. We usually have a visual artist to join us, but now we have a backdrop you can’t beat, that is, the magnificent Totak lake and surrounding mountains.
